Song Dynasty style teaware



Doesn't it look great! Do you know what they are? The black Tian Mu bowl is still used in Japan for green tea. Tian Mu bowls were invented during the Sung dynasty, but this particular one was made in Fujian later on, during the early Qing dynasty. It's one of my latest buys.

The other artefact, as you can see on the picture, was used to pour hot water into the bowls. More some other time...

tenmoku is usually used for cha no yu, maybe this one is an antic one ?
